America's ToothFairy We work to ensure all children can access dental care and learn about oral health.

Millions of children are without access to dental services and face ongoing health consequences as a result, including untreated tooth decay and other, more intensive dental needs. As a resource provider, America’s ToothFairy increases access to oral health care by supporting nonprofit clinics and community partners delivering education, prevention and treatment services for underserved children. 🦷 Clean between your teeth and protect your gums by flossing every day.
🗓️ Replace your toothbrush every 3 months and after you are sick.

Baby smiles matter! That’s why we’re spreading awareness about the importance of protecting young smiles from tooth decay!

It’s important to seek treatment right away if your child has a cavity–even in primary (baby) teeth!

Aside from the pain and anxiety that tooth decay can cause, kids with untreated decay are also likely to be malnourished (because it hurts to eat) and lose sleep. Plus, kids with poor oral health often miss school and fall behind.

C. Everett Koop, our former Surgeon General once said, “You’re not healthy without good oral health.” This is true because poor oral health can contribute to many ailments throughout the body.

October is Dental Hygiene Month–the perfect time to recommit to healthy dental hygiene habits!
🪥 Brush and floss with your kids every day to prevent cavities and set them up for a healthier future.
🦷 If it’s been more than 6 months since your last dental checkup, call your dental care provider today!

October is Dental Hygiene Month! We’re sharing why smiles matter and how to keep your smile healthy.

Healthy dental hygiene habits are especially important for pregnant mothers and infants. Follow these tips to ensure your baby is healthy:
🤰🏽 Pregnant mothers are especially prone to gum inflammation. Be extra vigilant with your oral care routine during pregnancy. Brush and floss daily, and don’t skip your dental check-ups!
👶🏽 Cavities are caused by oral bacteria. Don’t spread cavity-causing germs with your baby by “washing” their pacifier with your mouth, sharing drinks and utensils, blowing on your baby’s food, or allowing your baby to stick their hands in your mouth.
🫧 Wash your hands before feeding and wipe inside baby’s mouth with a soft, wet cloth.
🪥 Once the first tooth emerges begin a daily brushing routine to keep your baby’s teeth clean and to get them used to this healthy habit.
🦷 Your baby should have their first dental check-up by their first birthday.

Our Tooth Fairy wings took us to Mounds View, Minnesota this week to visit with our partners at Apple Tree Dental and Solventum Dental!

Solventum has been a loyal supporter of our mission to save smiles since the very beginning.* Together, we've helped Apple Tree increase access to dental care for children in marginalized communities across Minnesota for 10 years!

Thanks to a generous $350,000 grant from the Solventum Foundation this year, we're expanding our Dental Resource Program network, providing grants for urgent restorative care, creating all-new educational materials, distributing products, and developing a new campaign to launch this February.

Our 20th year is going to be our best year yet! Learn more about Solventum's support and see how you can get involved during our anniversary on our website.

*Solventum acquired 3M Oral Care, whose first donation was made in October of 2006. Their employees have served in key leadership roles on our Board of Directors, including our current Chairwoman.
