After months of waiting, wondering what they’ll look like, feeling every little kick… you reach down and touch your baby for the very first time — before they’re even fully in your arms. 🥹

Many people are surprised to find out that their care provider will likely only see them a couple of times during their labor and birth at the hospital.

A doula can be with you throughout your entire labor and birth. While doulas are not medical providers, they can provide emotional support to you and your partner, help you get into different positions that can facilitate labor, advocate for you, help you stay as comfortable as possible, and answer your questions.

It feels good to know you will have a dedicated support person with you the whole time 💕

Everyone talks about birth… but no one talks about what comes after.
