Tomorrow, August 28th, Magnolia Behavior Services will officially close the doors to our clinical services.

This is an incredibly bittersweet post to write. When Magnolia opened in 2021, I could not have imagined all of the children, families, employees, and wonderful people who would become part of my life because of it.

To every family who trusted Magnolia with your child—thank you. Thank you for allowing us to be part of their lives, to celebrate their accomplishments, to work through the hard days, and to watch them learn and grow. I have never taken that trust lightly. It has truly been a privilege to love and serve your children.

To everyone who has worked at Magnolia over the years—thank you for being part of this journey. Some stayed for a season, some stayed much longer, but each person became part of Magnolia’s story. Along the way, coworkers became friends, families became friends, and I made connections with people I probably never would have met otherwise. Those relationships are something I will always be grateful for.

There have been so many memories made inside these walls—first words, new skills, big accomplishments, hard-earned breakthroughs, laughter, tears, celebrations, and plenty of days that didn’t go according to plan. 😂 Through all of it, these kids have taught me just as much as I could have ever taught them.

Closing the clinical side of Magnolia is difficult because this place has been so much more than a business to me. It has been a huge part of my life for the last five years, and saying goodbye to this chapter is not easy.

While the clinic is closing, Magnolia isn’t completely going away. I will be continuing my work as a BCBA through school-based services, just in a different capacity and on a much smaller scale.

As we close our clinical doors tomorrow, I am choosing to look back with gratitude. I am thankful for every child who walked through our doors, every parent who trusted us, every employee who gave a piece of themselves to this work, and every friendship and connection that came from Magnolia.

Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for allowing Magnolia Behavior Services to be a small part of your family’s story.

It has been an honor. 💙

Here’s to the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next.

All the love and thanks,
Cristie
