September is Infant Mortality Awareness Month 💜

Every baby deserves the chance to be born healthy and grow up safe. Infant mortality is more than a statistic. It represents a baby, a family, and a community forever changed.

This month, we’re raising awareness and encouraging our community to take action. Together, we can help prevent infant deaths by:

👩‍⚕️ Supporting healthy pregnancies and early prenatal care

🧠 Promoting maternal mental health and well-being

🛏️ Practicing safe sleep-Alone, on their Back, and in a Crib

⚠️ Knowing the warning signs during pregnancy and after delivery

🍼 Supporting breastfeeding and healthy infant practices

🤝 Connecting families with resources and support

Every conversation matters. Every connection matters. Every baby matters.

Let’s work together to create a healthier community where every mother has the support she needs and every baby has the opportunity to thrive.

Black Maternal Health week is April 11-17. This is a time to raise awareness, amplify voices, take action to address disparities in maternal health, and recognize the importance of improving health outcomes for Black mothers and families

Every mother deserves safe, respectful, and quality care before, during, and after pregnancy. By supporting education, access to care, and community-based programs, we can work together to create healthier futures for mothers and babies.
