There’s a difference between noticing that your body has changed and deciding that the change is BAD.
You can try on your favorite jeans and think, “Well s**t, these fit differently.” You can feel disappointed. You can have an emotional reaction. And then… you can pause.
Because your initial reaction doesn’t have to become your final conclusion.
If your goal is to build muscle, your body may actually take up more space. That’s not a failure of the process. That IS the process.
The goal isn’t to never have the “oh s**t” moment. It’s to get to logic faster than you used to. To come back to WHY you started. To ask yourself: Do I actually dislike the body I’m building, or am I just uncomfortable because it’s different?
Those are two very different things.
And sometimes the work isn’t shrinking your body back down. Sometimes the work is learning to be okay with the body you intentionally built.
