🏈 Game Day Doesn’t Have to Be Cheat Day
Football season is here—and you don’t have to skip your favorite game-day foods to stay on track.
A warm bowl of turkey chili is hearty, satisfying, and perfect for kickoff. Try this easy game-day recipe:
🥣 Easy Turkey Chili
You’ll need:
• 1 lb. lean ground turkey
• 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 can diced tomatoes
• 1 small onion, diced
• 1 bell pepper, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1–2 Tbsp. chili powder
• 1 tsp. cumin
• Salt and pepper to taste
How to make it:
In a large pot, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables begin to soften.
Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Add the beans and diced tomatoes and stir everything together.
Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings. Try a sprinkle of shredded cheese, diced avocado, fresh cilantro, or a spoonful of Greek yogurt.
Healthy eating doesn’t mean giving up the foods that make football season fun. It’s about making a few smart choices, enjoying what you love, and finding a balance that works for you.
