Some things I share here because they're connected to the work I do.

This one I'm sharing because it's connected to someone I love. 🤎

Raphael has been one of my closest friends for years and, at this point, he's family. My daughters love him. My husband loves him. We love him.

He's loving, compassionate, funny, family-oriented and emotionally intelligent. He's a man of integrity, someone who values growth, and someone I've had the privilege of knowing through many different seasons of life.

And I genuinely believe he would make a wonderful father.

Raphael tells his own story on his fundraiser page, so I'll leave his journey for him to tell.

What I can tell you is why I'm standing beside him.

I know his heart. I know his character. I've watched how he loves the people in his life, and I know how much love he has waiting for a child of his own.

Being asked to serve as one of his co-organizers means more to me than he probably realizes.

So I'm asking my Doula D community—my village—to help me show up for someone in mine.
