Two moms. Two babies now head down. One very grateful chiropractor. 💛

Two women began chiropractic care with me this month while their babies were breech. This week, I learned that both babies had turned head down! 🙌

As a Webster-certified chiropractor, my focus is supporting pelvic balance and movement during pregnancy. Webster is not a technique for manually turning babies, and we can’t promise a change in position—but I’m so happy to celebrate this wonderful news with these families!

It’s a privilege to support women as they prepare to welcome their little ones. 💛

re your spinal discs turning into pickles?

It sounds ridiculous, but it’s actually one of my favorite ways to explain disc degeneration.

A healthy disc is more like a fresh cucumber—hydrated, flexible, and able to absorb stress. Over time, injury, repetitive strain, aging, and loss of hydration can change that disc. The longer those changes progress, the harder it can be to get back to where you started.

That’s the whole point of my pickle analogy: the earlier you understand what’s happening, the more choices you may have.

Your MRI isn’t the whole story.

An MRI can show us things like disc bulges, herniations, degeneration or stenosis—but it doesn’t automatically tell us exactly why you hurt.

Two people can have very similar-looking MRIs and have completely different symptoms.

That’s why I always say: I don’t treat an MRI. I treat a patient.

We have to look at the whole picture—where the pain is, whether there’s numbness, tingling or weakness, what the neurological exam shows, and whether all of that actually matches the imaging.

Yesterday we celebrated — and my heart is so full.

Thirty years ago I chose this path, and every single day since, YOU have made it the greatest gift. To my patients who trusted me with your health. To my team who shows up with me. To my community who has cheered me on — thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
