During Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, we are making space for all the ways loss can be experienced along the fertility journey. 💙
For some, that loss may be a miscarriage or the loss of a baby. For others, it may be a cancelled cycle, a failed treatment or transfer, a negative pregnancy test, or the loss of hopes and expectations they carried for their path to parenthood.
We understand that grief doesn't always look the same and there is no single way to experience or move through it.
In this video, our patient Erin shares her personal story of loss with her daughter Hope and the journey that eventually led her to her rainbow baby Archer. Her story is a beautiful reminder that joy and grief can exist alongside one another and that welcoming a rainbow baby does not erase the love or loss that came before.
This month, we honor every patient and family whose fertility journey has included loss, in whatever form that loss has taken. Your experience and feelings matter. Please know that you don't have to navigate this journey alone. Our community is here and our friends at have many resources along with the holistic care we provide for you at our centers.
Join us this weekend with the Chicago Chapter at the Remember Us Still walk for community, support, and to make a difference!
