Hi everyone. I am looking for opinions on treating my child. She is 11 years old and started having uncontrollable muscle movements last year. Her movements are cramping and locking up of her muscles or they will pull as far as they can and keep pulling, causing her pain until it releases. We are working with a neurologist who is working on a Dystonia diagnosis but we have not been able to find a cause for it as of yet. Our next step is an MRI which is scheduled for this weekend. In the mean time, he has her on vitamin D, iron and magnesium. Has anyone seen any relief by giving their child low dose CBD gummies? If so, is it something you provide daily or as the episodes are happening? Thanks in advance for any advice you have!

Thank you Dystonia Medical Research Foundation for sharing this opportunity. Attention researchers!
Hi all. I am hugely struggling with whether or not to take the plunge into the botox waters for my oromandibular dystonia, and if so, whether to go with my dentist, who has been using botox in his practice for over five years for all manner of therapeutic and cosmetic purposes, or with a neurologist. I had botox from 2002-2006 for right focal hand dystonia, but never found the sweet spot that ever made the resulting mild to extreme weakness, depending on the considerably variable effects from treatment to treatment, worth continuing after four years of frustration. But, now that I have progressed to generalized dystonia, and its OMD spawn, I fear I must confront the botox bogeyman again. I would be immensely appreciative and grateful for any of the thoughts and experiences of those of you who have already been blazing or have blazed the OMD botox trail in your journeys. Pros and cons. The whole enchilada. Truly!
