In patients with undergoing , mathematical biomarkers derived from first-cycle prostate-specific antigen ( ) dynamics predicted time to progression and overall survival, while standard PSA metrics did not. These findings indicate that routine clinical data may support more individualized treatment scheduling and patient stratification.

This retrospective modeling and validation study uses clinical trial data to develop mathematical biomarkers that predict outcomes of patients with prostate cancer undergoing adaptive therapy.

mortality in the US declined from 2000 to 2019 among adults aged ≥45 years across racial and ethnic groups and by s*x, but county-level disparities remained substantial. In 2019, some counties still had rates >100 deaths per 100 000, with the highest burdens concentrated among American Indian or Alaska Native and Black populations, indicating a need for more targeted local public health and screening strategies.

This cross-sectional study assesses variation in colorectal cancer mortality rates and changes over time across county, race and ethnicity, s*x, and age in the US.

After biosimilar entry for biologics including bevacizumab, rituximab, and trastuzumab, reference product prices and market share declined in commercial insurance and Medicare Part B. Patients who exclusively used had lower mean monthly payer costs and lower mean monthly out-of-pocket costs vs those who exclusively used reference biologics, indicating reduced financial burden for payers and patients.

This cohort study assesses market dynamics and examines financial implications associated with biosimilar use patterns among patients who received bevacizumab, rituximab, or trastuzumab.

Among men with initiating concurrent androgen deprivation therapy and an androgen receptor pathway inhibitor, newly documented metabolic abnormalities accumulated rapidly during the first year of treatment. was frequently documented soon after treatment initiation, with hypertension the most common component outcome, supporting early metabolic monitoring during cancer care.

This cohort study examines the occurrence and rate of metabolic syndrome during the first year following initiation of androgen deprivation therapy–androgen receptor pathway inhibitor.

Among patients with metastatic , digital patient-reported outcome monitoring with alert-based responses was associated with lower fatigue at 6 months vs usual care, with improvement exceeding the minimal clinically important difference threshold.

These findings indicate that structured symptom monitoring may support symptom-centered oncology care during systemic therapy.

For patients with and tumor thrombus, neoadjuvant before nephrectomy and thrombectomy appeared feasible in a phase 2 nonrandomized clinical trial.

Most patients completed surgery, no 90-day perioperative mortality occurred, and no grade 4 or 5 radiation-attributed toxic effects were reported.

Among patients with localized deficient mismatch repair or microsatellite instability–high or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, neoadjuvant nivolumab plus ipilimumab followed by surgery and adjuvant nivolumab was associated with sustained long-term survival.

At extended follow-up, event-free survival and overall survival remained high, supporting continued study of chemotherapy-free immune checkpoint inhibitor strategies in this population.

Among selected patients with ERBB2-positive and triple-negative , omission of surgery after neoadjuvant therapy and biopsy confirmation of no residual tumor was followed by favorable 5-year outcomes with whole-breast irradiation. The study highlights tradeoffs relevant to clinical decision-making, including limits of imaging and biopsy for identifying residual disease, frequent follow-up biopsies, and the need to define whether eliminating surgery or radiotherapy would have greater value in care. The trial indicates that larger studies are needed before this approach can be considered standard care.
