Dr. Kacey Wallace We help empowered women untangle the metabolic mess— to Reclaim the Real You! Release weight. Reignite passion. Restore focus. You’re not behind. You’re not crazy.

I help women in midlife who feel “tired but wired” finally understand what’s really happening in their bodies. If you’re dealing with stubborn weight, brain fog, mood swings, poor sleep, or feeling dismissed by “normal” labs — you are not broken. As a board-certified family physician and functional medicine expert, I specialize in root-cause healing that supports your metabolism, hormones, and brain together. Because when those systems are supported, your:
• Weight responds
• Energy stabilizes
• Focus returns
• Passion and presence come back

Through advanced lab testing, step-by-step frameworks, and compassionate guidance, I help you release weight, reignite passion, and restore focus — without overwhelm. And you’re not meant to just “power through.”

You’re meant to reclaim the real you.

Tired but wired. Craving salt one minute and sugar the next. Sleeping 8 hours and still waking up exhausted. 😮‍💨

If your labs keep coming back “fine,” you might be looking in the wrong place.

Think of your minerals as the wiring behind your energy, your stress response, and your sleep. When the wiring is off, it doesn’t matter how hard you flip the switch. Nothing turns on the way it should.

This week we talked about willpower running low. Minerals are one of the reasons it runs low in the first place.

A Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis shows you your mineral pattern, so you can stop guessing what your body is missing.

Here’s how simple it is:
1️⃣ Your kit ships to your door
2️⃣ Snip a small hair sample at home and mail it back. No needles, no appointments, no waiting rooms.
3️⃣ Get your personalized mineral graph report, a written interpretation from our health coach, and guides for your next steps

$247. Results are typically ready 2 to 3 weeks after the lab receives your sample.

She didn’t cry because it was sad. She cried because it finally made sense. 😮‍💨

Mary had spent years trying to figure out what was wrong with her. The plans, the restarts, the “I’ll be better on Monday.”

Then she sat down with one questionnaire inside my workshop and saw her own pattern on paper.

That’s the moment I built Willpower Is Not Your Problem for. Not more rules. Not another plan to fail at. Just a clear look at what your body has been doing all along, and one next step that fits it.

Watch it whenever you’re ready. 75 minutes, on your schedule.

Confession: “me time” used to be whatever was left over. Most weeks, nothing was. 🍂

This week on the podcast, I talked about how we make ourselves the last resort in our own lives. It hit closer to home than I expected while recording.

I still catch myself doing it. I push my own walk to “later.” I answer one more message before I let myself sit down. Thoughts of shame still try to creep in.

So this weekend I’m trying something simple. One thing that’s just for me, on the calendar, treated like it matters. No earning it first. No finishing the to-do list before I’m allowed.

For me, it’s a walk with no podcast in my ears. (Yes, the podcast host is taking a break from podcasts. 😄) Just me, my feet, and whatever I notice along the way.

It’s not a big gesture. But it’s a small way of saying I’m here in my own life too.

What’s your one thing this weekend? Tell me below. I’d love to cheer you on. 👇🫶

You didn’t decide to disappear. It happened one reasonable decision at a time. 🎙️

You cancel your own appointment because someone else needs the slot. You skip the walk because dinner won’t make itself. You say “I’m fine” because, technically, you’re still functioning.

Nobody calls that self-erasure. We call it being responsible.

I recently finished a whole series called I’m Not Your Last Resort. Most of it was about health. But I’ve realized many of us aren’t only putting our health last. We’ve made ourselves the last resort in our own lives.

This week’s episode is about that pattern. It’s not about becoming self-centered. It’s about noticing whether you’re actually present in your own life.

Inside this episode:
→ Where selflessness quietly turns into self-erasure
→ Why caring for everyone else feels responsible, but caring for yourself feels selfish
→ The difference between being needed and being valued
→ How shame keeps the pattern going, and what grace looks like instead
→ Why including yourself gives you more capacity, not less

You don’t have to become the center of every room. But you do need to exist in your own life.

“When women lose themselves, the world loses its way.”
Glennon Doyle, Untamed

Most of us didn’t lose ourselves in one big moment. 👀

It happened quietly. One skipped appointment. One “I’m fine.” One more thing handled for everyone else before we ever got to ourselves.

And because we’re still functioning, nobody notices. Sometimes not even us.

But here’s what I believe: the people you love don’t need a version of you who disappears for them. They need you. Present. Rested. Actually here.

Including yourself isn’t selfish. It might be the very thing that lets you show up the way you want to.

Where do you notice yourself going last? Tell me below. 👇

Ever notice how you can do everything right all day… and then 8:30pm hits? 🍪😅

It’s not a discipline problem. By evening, your brain has made hundreds of decisions, and it starts rationing energy. Survival wants fast choices, not good ones.

The good news? Your body runs on patterns. And once you know yours, you can stop fighting yourself and start working with yourself.

That’s exactly what I teach in my workshop, Willpower Is Not Your Problem. 75 minutes. Two short questionnaires. One next step matched to your biology.

Every post this week pointed at the same thing. 🔬

The starting and stopping. The motivation that disappears. The discipline that works for a week and then does not. The wellness that became another thing to fail at.

None of it is a character flaw.

All of it has a physiologic explanation. ☝🏼

And that explanation — plus one stabilizing step you can take today — lives inside the Willpower Is Not Your Problem workshop.

75 minutes. Pre-recorded and available whenever you are ready.

The biology behind why you quit. Why restriction makes it worse. Why one week you are on fire and the next you cannot start. And what to actually do about it — not as a mindset shift, but as a physiologic intervention.

$77. On demand. Yours to keep.

Drop WORKSHOP in the comments and I will send you the details directly. 🌿

She just wanted less bloating. 🫶

“I used to eat standing at the kitchen counter all the time. Since I started making myself sit down at the table and eat slower, I have had less bloating. It really does work!”

One change. Not a protocol. Not an overhaul. Not a complete lifestyle transformation.

She sat down at the table.

And her gut responded.

Here is the physiology behind why that works — because it is not just habit. 👀

When you eat standing, rushing, or distracted your nervous system is in sympathetic mode — the same state it uses for stress and survival. In that state digestion is actively suppressed. Stomach acid production drops. Enzyme release slows. Motility changes.

Your body is not set up to properly digest food when it thinks it is in the middle of a crisis.

Sitting down, slowing down, being present for a meal — that is a parasympathetic signal. It tells your nervous system the threat has passed. And digestion can actually begin.

One small shift. Real physiologic consequence. 🔬

This is what the work actually looks like.

Not perfect. Not dramatic. Just the right input at the right moment.

Somewhere along the way, wellness became another thing to get right. 😮‍💨

Another standard to meet. Another place to fall short. Another morning that starts with a score instead of a breath.

That is not health. That is pressure wearing a green juice costume.

The women I work with are not lazy. They are exhausted from trying so hard in a framework that was never designed to feel good to live inside.

This new series is for them. And maybe for you too. 🙃

Your Health Is Not Another Thing To Perfect. 🎙️
