I wanted to share a fun community event coming up that may be of interest to the individuals and families we support!
The Special Needs Carnival will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Durham Community Park in Durham.
The carnival is for children and adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities and includes adapted activities, crafts, dancing, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, and a hot dog meal.
The event and food are completely FREE for all participants and volunteers!
The Special Needs Carnival has been serving our community since 2013, and this will be their 17th event.
Please share this information with the individuals we support and their families who may be interested. It sounds like it will be a great day!
