Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Meeting! We loved seeing so many new and familiar faces come together. Also, a big thank you to Savor Ice Cream — Chico, CA for donating dessert!

During the meeting, we came together to make sensory bags for the Autism Clinic at Chico State and cards and crafts for Peg Taylor Adult Day Care, both of which we’ll be delivering soon. Thank you for helping us give back to our these important local resources.

Our owners are the heart of our co-op. Your support, advocacy, and belief in the importance of a locally owned, independent grocery store make all the difference. Because of you, we can continue to serve Chico, invest in our community, and stand together. We couldn’t do it without you!

As we wrap up Co-op Month this October, we’re celebrating the power of community and the difference we can make when we show up for one another. Thank you for being part of what makes our co-op possible!

Co-ops build community! October is Co-op Month, and Equal Exchange is a great example of what that looks like in action. This popular brand sources coffee, cocoa, tea, bananas and avocados directly from small-scale, democratically organized farmer cooperatives. By doing this, they are putting more power into the hands of the people who grow our food.

Now’s a good time to stock up! Equal Exchange chocolate, tea and coffee are ALL on sale in our Co-op Deals flyer through October 20. These deals are for everyone; no ownership required.
