“I don’t have time” is a convenient excuse.
Everyone is busy. Life gets chaotic. Between work, kids, bills, and responsibilities, there will always be something competing for your attention.
But be honest with yourself: is there truly no time, or are you giving all of it to other things?
You find time to scroll.
You find time to watch your favorite shows.
You find time for things you’ve decided are worth it.
Your health deserves a spot on that list.
That doesn’t mean spending two hours in the gym or rearranging your entire life overnight. It might mean a 20-minute walk, preparing tomorrow’s meals, or going to bed instead of watching another episode.
Small choices count. Repeated choices change your life.
Some days, you really will be stretched thin. Do what you can on those days. But don’t let a busy day become the excuse you repeat for another year.
When you keep saying, “I don’t have time,” ask yourself what would need to change for you to make some.
You don’t have to do everything. You do have to start making room for the person you keep saying you want to become.
