We are a (CCRC) with senior lifestyle options that include our spacious Independent Living apartments to various levels of quality nursing services. Western Hills Retirement Village offers Independent Living, Independent Plus, Rehabilitation, Alzheimer's Care, and long term care nursing. We are a continuum of care designed to help your loved ones at all stages of life.

What a beautiful day filled with love, compassion, and community! 💜🌸

The team at Western Hills Retirement Village, proudly part of Caring Place Healthcare Group, was honored to come together in Cincinnati for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s and support the Caring Corner as a proud sponsor.

At Western Hills Retirement Village, we know that caring for those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia means so much more than providing a place to live. It means creating an environment where people feel safe, valued, respected, and loved. 💜

🌟 Therapy Victory at Western Hills Retirement Village! 🌟

Every step forward tells a story, and Jerry's story is one of determination, resilience, and hope. ❤️

When Jerry first arrived at Western Hills Retirement Village, he required maximum assistance from two people just to transfer to his wheelchair and had no active movement in his left arm. Today, thanks to his unwavering dedication and the compassionate support of our incredible therapy team, his progress has been nothing short of amazing.

👏 Jerry is now:
✨ Walking household distances with limited assistance
✨ Successfully navigating stairs
✨ Gaining strength, confidence, and independence every single day

Recovery is never a journey taken alone. A special thank you to Youlanda, S/OTA, and Bob, PTA/L, whose encouragement, expertise, and commitment have helped Jerry reach this incredible milestone.

And of course, we can't forget one of our favorite members of the therapy team... 🐶💙 Crash, our therapy dog! His tail wags, unconditional love, and comforting visits have brought countless smiles and extra motivation throughout Jerry's rehabilitation journey.

Next week, Jerry will be heading home to his wife—a moment everyone has been working toward. We couldn't be more proud of everything he has accomplished.

Congratulations, Jerry! Your perseverance is inspiring, and we wish you continued success as you begin this exciting new chapter at home. 🎉🏡❤️

🗣️💙 Happy Speech Therapy Month to our incredible Speech Therapist, Drew! 💙🗣️

We are celebrating someone who makes a difference in the lives of our residents every single day! 🌟 Drew’s compassion, patience, and dedication shine through in everything he does, and we are beyond grateful to have him as part of our team. 👏😊

Whether he’s helping residents regain communication skills, improve swallowing, build confidence, or simply offering encouragement with a smile, Drew always goes above and beyond for those in our care. ❤️

One of our favorite things about Drew is his genuine passion for speech therapy. Here’s what inspired him to enter the field:

✨ “I was working as a social worker in rural northern Wisconsin and I was just fascinated by what the SLP was doing, it was so interesting. And I’m still interested in all the aspects of speech therapy 30 years later.” ✨

Thirty years later and still making an impact every day — what an amazing testament to his heart and dedication! 💫
