Sertoli cell nodule (Pick adenoma) is a benign, usually incidental intratesticular proliferation of bland Sertoli cells that forms sharply demarcated unencapsulated nodules and exhibits a s*x cord-stromal immunophenotype while lacking germ cell markers such as OCT4. 🌟 Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Kathryn Wikenheiser-Brokamp, MD, PhD

We’re proud to recognize Dr. Kathryn Wikenheiser-Brokamp for her dedication to research, patient care, education, and mentorship.

Her career journey has taken her from plans to become a high school science teacher to becoming a physician-scientist and pulmonary pathologist. At Cincinnati Children’s, she combines clinical care and research to better understand lung development and disease while helping train the next generation of physicians and scientists.

One lesson that has stayed with her throughout her career is simple but powerful: **every person matters.**

We appreciate Dr. Wikenheiser-Brokamp’s continued contributions, leadership, and commitment to those around her.

The CCHMC Pediatric Pathology Fellowship Program would like to remind everyone that registration is now open for the 2026 Perinatal Pathology Virtual Course through The Society for Pediatric Pathology (SPP).

🗓️ August 20–22, 2026
📚 15.75 CME credits

This virtual course will cover practical and educational topics in perinatal autopsy, placental pathology, and current advances in perinatal pathology. We encourage those interested in the field to register and take advantage of this educational opportunity.
