4 nights in Tokyo with peanut, tree nut, shellfish, celery, sodium benzoate, sodium nitrate, and yellow dye food allergies.
This was my first time in Japan and I was nervous about eating for sure with the language barrier as well had how prevalent shellfish and nuts are here. So far so good though!
📍Granola bars for the plane but they did have a prepackaged box of crackers so I could read the ingredient list. Unfortunately none of their boxed meals had ingredient lists and their customer service chat was unable to provide them prior to our flight.
📍A margarita pizza at DisneySeas
📍There was a bunch of vendor trucks in the Meiji Jingu so I was able to find one that didn’t serve shellfish and had some of the best chicken skewers ever plus fried rice balls with sugar and soy sauce.
📍7/11 makes really good food and it’s all individually packaged with an ingredient list I could translate. It’s been a great way to try some different foods.
📍a delicious burger for lunch at Adrift by the Imperial Palace
📍another margarita pizza with farm to table ingredients at Kabeat
