Things will be a little quieter around Beelieve In You this week! We’ll only be sharing one article as our team prepares to head to Tres Dias this Thursday through Sunday!

We are looking forward to a weekend of serving, fellowship, spiritual growth, and watching how the Lord works in the lives of those attending.

We would love for you to join us in praying for the candidates, team members, and everyone involved. Our prayer is that Christ would be glorified in all that is said and done!

Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support. We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled articles next week!

Our Ten Commandments Series continues with Heather taking us through the Fourth Commandment:

“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.” — Exodus 20:8

What does this command teach us about work, rest, trust, and remembering who ultimately provides for us?

The Sabbath reminded Israel that their time belonged to the LORD—and that their lives were not sustained by their own labor.

Join Heather as she walks through the Fourth Commandment and what it reveals about the heart.

I love theology. Give me a good theological rabbit hole, some Sonic ice, and zero interruptions, and I’m a happy woman. 😂

But here’s something that’s been weighing on me lately…

We can know a whole lot ABOUT God and still fail to live like we actually KNOW Him.

We can explain grace while refusing to extend it. Defend sound doctrine while neglecting to love our neighbor. Talk about sanctification while being completely unwilling to acknowledge our own sin.

Ouch. And yes, I’m stepping on my own toes here, too.

Don’t misunderstand me. Sound doctrine matters. Biblical literacy matters. But if all that knowledge isn’t producing humility, love, obedience, and Christlikeness, we need to ask ourselves what we’re actually doing with it.

Because the goal isn’t simply to know more Scripture. It’s to be transformed by the God who gave it to us.

I unpack this a little more in today’s article over at Beelieve In You. 🐝

📖 You Can Know Scripture & Still Miss the Point

🐑 **The Lamb Among the Goats** 🐐

Who knew that overhearing a conversation about goats would send someone down a theological rabbit hole? 😂 Well, apparently that's what we're doing today!

One simple statement from a goatherd got Summer thinking about Jesus.

**The Lamb of God. The Good Shepherd. And a world full of sinners desperately in need of a Savior.**

Romans 5:8 reminds us that Christ died for us **while we were still sinners.**

Not when we finally got our lives together. Not when we became worthy. Not when we managed to clean ourselves up.

While. We. Were. Still. Sinners.

And here's the beautiful part: The very Lamb who was slain for His sheep is also the Shepherd who holds them for eternity.

**The Lamb came among sinners. The Shepherd laid down His life. And by grace, His sheep are brought home.** ❤️

Come read Summer's newest article and see how one unexpected conversation points us right back to the gospel.

📖 **Read “The Lamb Among the Goats” here:**
https://www.beelieveinyou.org/thebuzz/the-lamb-among-the-goats

By Summer Martin I recently overheard a conversation between my husband and a dear brother of ours who is a goatherd when he said something that I haven't been able to get out of my head. He told my husband that if there were even one sheep among his goats, he would be considered a shepherd. One

We hear a LOT about “healing” these days.

Heal your inner child.
Find your higher self.
Release negative energy.
Look within yourself for the answers.

But what if healing isn’t found by looking deeper into ourselves?

What if it’s found by looking to Christ?

Scripture doesn’t pretend our wounds aren’t real. God sees the brokenhearted. He sees the grief, rejection, trauma, anger, and pain we carry. But biblical healing isn’t about self-actualization or becoming our own source of wholeness.

It’s about bringing what is broken into the light of God’s Word and allowing His truth to confront the lies we’ve believed.

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3

In today’s article, Ami walks through what biblical inner healing looks like, how we can bring past wounds before the Lord, and—just as importantly—how to recognize the New Age counterfeits that often use very similar language.

Healing matters.

But **where we go for healing matters too.**

🐝 Read **The Biblical Mandate for Inner Healing** on BeeLieve in YOU:

By Ami Smith The biblical mandate for inner healing is rooted in the complete redemptive work of Jesus Christ, who came to restore not just humanity’s eternal destiny, but also our broken hearts and minds. While secular psychology focuses on symptom management and New Age practices rely on self-ac

Biblical wellness check-in 🌿

Sometimes “taking care of yourself” doesn’t look like a 5 a.m. workout, perfectly prepped meals, eight hours of sleep, a spotless house, AND three chapters of Bible study before everyone else wakes up.

Because… respectfully, who is doing all that? 😂

Sometimes stewardship looks like:

Drinking the water you’ve been ignoring all day.

Eating an actual meal instead of surviving on coffee and whatever you found in the pantry.

Going for a 10-minute walk because 10 minutes is better than the workout you keep postponing until you have an hour.

Going to bed instead of scrolling for another 45 minutes.

Taking your medication as prescribed.

Resting when your body genuinely needs rest.

Opening your Bible even when you only have a few quiet minutes.

And remembering that caring for your body isn’t about making your body an idol.

It’s about recognizing that your body belongs to God.

“You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

Biblical wellness isn’t about becoming the most disciplined, organic, toxin-free, perfectly regulated woman on the internet.

It’s learning to faithfully steward the life God has given you—one ordinary decision at a time. 🐝

What’s ONE small thing you can do today to care for the body, mind, and life God has entrusted to you?

10/03/2026

Sometimes growth looks really spiritual.

Deep Bible study.
Powerful prayer.
Big breakthrough. 🙌

And sometimes growth looks like…

“I typed the response, read it again, deleted it, and decided Jesus did not need me to send that.” 😂

Sanctification isn’t always dramatic.

Sometimes it’s biting your tongue.
Apologizing first.
Setting the boundary without writing a dissertation.
Choosing not to participate in the gossip.
Praying before reacting.
Doing the right thing while your flesh is throwing an absolute FIT about it.

We’re still growing over here. 🌱

Not perfectly.
Not gracefully every single time.
But little by little, God is making His daughters look more like Christ.

And thank goodness He’s patient with us in the process. 🐝❤️

We usually hear the Third Commandment and immediately think:

“Don’t use God’s name as a curse word.”

And yes—we should absolutely honor His name with our mouths.

But what if this commandment goes deeper than the words we say?

What if it also has something to say about the way we carry His name?

When we say, “God told me…” when He hasn’t spoken.

When we attach His authority to our personal opinions.

When we claim Christ while treating sin casually.

When our lives communicate something about God that simply isn’t true.

The Third Commandment isn’t only about avoiding certain words.

It asks a much more uncomfortable question:

What does my life say about the God whose name I claim?

His name is holy.

His name is not something we get to use to give our opinions more authority, justify our desires, or make our preferences sound biblical.

If we bear the name of Christ, then how we speak, live, promise, worship, and represent Him matters.

We probably don’t have a golden calf sitting in the living room. 😬

So it can be easy to read the Second Commandment and think, Well, I’m good on that one.

But idolatry isn’t always that obvious.

“You shall not make for yourself an idol…” — Exodus 20:4

The First Commandment tells us who we worship.

The Second reminds us that we don’t get to decide how God is worshiped—or remake Him into someone who better fits our preferences.

A god who never confronts our sin.
A god who agrees with everything we already believe.
A god who comforts but never corrects.
A god who asks nothing from us.

That may be a much more comfortable god.

But it isn’t the God of Scripture.

We don’t create God.
We don’t redefine God.
We don’t reduce God.

We receive what He has revealed about Himself—and worship Him accordingly.

It’s Friday, and I would just like to personally congratulate everyone who made it through the week without dramatically moving to a cabin in the woods and turning their phone off forever. 😂

But seriously…

Some weeks are productive.
Some weeks are peaceful.
And some weeks are basically, “Jesus, please help me not respond in my flesh.” 😅

Maybe you didn’t check everything off the list.
Maybe you weren’t as patient as you wanted to be.
Maybe you had to repent, regroup, and try again more than once.

That’s okay.

Sanctification isn’t about having a flawless week. It’s the ongoing work of God making us more like Christ—even in the messy, frustrating, “Lord, we need to talk” parts of life.

So take a breath. Thank God for His grace. Learn what you need to learn.

And keep going. 🐝💛
