This mare had a wound about a month ago from kicking a panel. The wound was healing and looking really good, but as the wound heeled and closed it trapped some infection on the inside which then decided to present itself over night. Could you imagine going out in the morning to find your horses leg 4 times the size it would be? I did an inflammatory taping on her to draw all of this extra fluid up and out of her leg. The owner said by the next morning the swelling had gone down to half of what it was and the vet was able to find the infection pocket and drain it. I love these updates 🩷 she is a pretty special horse to a pretty special boy.

When a horse allows me to become part of his energetic field it’s a very sacred thing, a horse does not have much say in his day to day life, especially a good one. So when he allows you to be apart of the only thing in his life that he can say yes or no to it’s a pretty amazing feeling. This is the part of the horse that keeps him safe and healthy, this is the part of the horse that he depends on every moment of his life. So today when this particular horse allowed me in to work on and balance his gall bladder meridian, some pretty cool things happened. I just wanted to share a few pictures of this horse and the places that had disruptions or blockages along the meridian, it’s as if you are reading a map. And for this particular horse I think he will feel a bit better and his body can begin to find some rhythm and balance. Remember by the time we see the body manifest symptoms on the outside. The inside had probably been out of balance for quite some time..

Treating inflammation of the hocks. No heat just large amounts of fluid built up in both hocks. This particular horse had hock injections 2 weeks ago and is just now showing these symptoms. Strange but miserable nonetheless. I have been doing daily inflammation tapings on both hock and legs trying to draw the fluid up and out. Also working on his gall bladder and liver meridians treating for toxins & lymphatic movement. So Basically I am treating him for stagnation!
