What a wonderful week at Evans Memorial Hospital celebrating the “Power of Pink” and our 6th Annual “Brassiere of the Year” Team Competition!

(Infection Control)

We appreciate our judges this year: Rosalind Ivy, Gena Roberts, Doris Fries, Dr. Rebecca Spahos, and Allison Surrency. They evaluated the 14 entries, while spending time with our team at the Power of Pink event earlier this week.

Early detection can make a difference so please spread the word and encourage others to schedule their appointment now. We are supporting our $99 Mammo screening campaign, so schedule between now and November 15th by calling 912-739-5298.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost and honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, military members, healthcare workers, and countless others who answered the call.
Twenty-five years later, their stories, their courage, and their legacy remain with us.

We are saddened by the loss of Deborah Sheppard, Business and Front Office Manager, at our Jack Strickland Rehab & Wellness Center. She was a dedicated team members with over two decades of service. She will be missed greatly by her team and colleagues. Our thoughts are with her family and friends over the days ahead.
