Could robotic-assisted surgery be an option for your hernia repair, gallbladder removal or another general surgery procedure?

For eligible patients, this minimally invasive approach uses small incisions and may mean less discomfort and a shorter recovery. Your surgeon controls every movement and can help you compare the options for your specific needs.

Abdominal pain can have many causes, but appendicitis is one condition that requires prompt medical attention.

Common symptoms may include:
• Pain that starts near the belly button and moves to the lower-right abdomen
• Nausea or vomiting
• Fever
• Loss of appetite
• Abdominal swelling

If you are experiencing symptoms that could indicate appendicitis, go to the nearest ER right away. Appendicitis can worsen quickly and should not wait for a routine office visit.
