Our residents and staff enjoyed this delicious treat, filled with sweet flavors, smiles, and a little fall fun! ❤️

After all, they say “An apple a day keeps the doctor away!” 😉🍎 We just decided to make ours a little sweeter!

We love partnering with our hospice friends to bring fun, meaningful activities, and plenty of smiles to our residents! 🥰

Amber and Amy, our amazing A-Team from Caris Hospice, stopped by with beautiful stained-glass art for our residents to color. Our residents added their own creativity and brought these wonderful pieces to life! 🌈✨

Thank you, Amber and Amy, for always going above and beyond to make our residents’ days brighter. We appreciate you ladies and the entire Caris Hospice team more than you know! ❤️

Today, we decided to give our awesome boss, Cade, a little surprise to start his morning! We raised a toast to him… but not with your ordinary cup! 🤣 Let’s just say we took “anything but a cup” to a whole new level! Cheers, Cade! 🥂😂

All jokes aside, we truly appreciate everything you do for our residents, staff, and the entire Woodland Post Acute family. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we’re thankful to have you leading our team!

🎶❤️ Music Brings Joy to Woodland Post Acute! ❤️🎶

There’s something truly special about seeing our residents’ eyes light up, smiles spread across their faces, and watching them engage with our talented performers! Music has a beautiful way of bringing people together and creating moments that touch the heart. 🥰🎤

This week, we were blessed with visits from Ricky Starr and Marci Pace, who shared their amazing talents and brought so much happiness to our residents.

🍫 Happy National Chocolate Day! 🍫

We celebrated in the sweetest way possible at Woodland Post Acute! Our staff enjoyed an assortment of chocolatey goodies, including chocolate cheesecake, chocolate fudge, brownies, cupcakes, and even chocolate milk! 😋🍰🍫

There’s no better way to sweeten the day than by showing our amazing staff just how much they are loved and appreciated. Thank you for everything you do each and every day for our residents! ❤️

At Woodland Post Acute, we are proud to celebrate the incredible progress and determination of our patients. Today, we are excited to share the inspiring success story of Mr. Mayes!

Mr. Mayes arrived at Woodland Post Acute after experiencing a fall at home that resulted in a fractured pelvis. He was in significant pain and had very limited mobility, making even the simplest daily activities difficult. Sit-to-stand transfers were challenging, and tasks such as getting dressed required considerable effort and assistance.

Through dedicated PT and OT and Mr. Mayes’s determination to get back on his feet, he made remarkable progress throughout his stay. Day by day, he worked toward regaining his strength, improving his mobility, and rebuilding his independence.

Today, Mr. Mayes is heading home stronger, more confident, and back to doing the things he loves! He can now walk 500 feet with a rollator and independently complete all of his activities of daily living, including dressing and other essential self-care tasks.

We are incredibly proud of Mr. Mayes and all he has accomplished during his time with us. Congratulations, Mr. Mayes, on this amazing milestone! Everyone at Woodland Post Acute wishes you continued success, happiness, and many wonderful days ahead in the comfort of your own home.

🐾💖 We absolutely LOVE when our four-legged friends come to visit our residents! Seeing their faces light up, their smiles grow, and the sparkle in their eyes makes these visits so special. 🥰🐶
