🍂🎃 What a fun day at our Fall Festival last Saturday! 🎃🍂

Everyone had a great time playing games, winning prizes, and enjoying the festivities! 🏆🎯 We loved seeing so many smiling faces and sharing a wonderful day together.

✈️📚 Wrapping up 4 great days in Pittsburgh! Mia and Rachel attended the annual NADD conference — NADD stands for the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed, an organization dedicated to improving services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions.

The conference was a great opportunity to learn from experts, connect with professionals from across the country, and explore new approaches to providing person-centered support.

We’re heading home with new knowledge, fresh perspectives, and ideas to bring back to Common Roots as we continue working to improve the lives of the individuals we support! 💙

We are so proud of our Common Roots athletes who competed in the Special Olympics Bowling Regionals this past weekend!

These athletes worked hard, showed up, supported one another, and represented with so much enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Whether they brought home a ribbon or simply gave it their all, every one of them has something to be proud of. ❤️

We were also happy to support the team with transportation costs so they could rent a van and make the trip together. Being able to travel as a team, cheer each other on, and share the experience made the weekend even more special!

Congratulations to all of our bowlers! 🎳👏 We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

We feel so fortunate to be part of CANDD—an organization that continues to help us learn, grow, and be better at what we do. ❤️

Our team had the opportunity to attend the 3rd Annual Together We Thrive Conference & Resource Fair today, connecting with families, educators, and community partners who support students receiving special education services.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and continue strengthening the support we provide to the individuals and families we serve! 🤝💙

Today, some of our team members spent time volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, helping support families who are going through incredibly challenging times.

At Common Roots, we believe that supporting our community goes beyond the work we do every day—it’s also about showing up, lending a hand, and making a difference wherever we can.
