A cancer diagnosis can bring a flood of questions, emotions and uncertainty. Sometimes, hearing what others have learned along the way can offer a little reassurance, perspective and hope.

You don’t have to have all the answers on day one. Ask questions. Lean on the people around you. Take things one day at a time. And remember—you don’t have to navigate cancer alone.

If you’ve been through a cancer diagnosis, what’s one thing you wish you could go back and tell yourself on that first day? Share below if you feel comfortable. Your words might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today. 💙

How does immunotherapy help your body fight cancer?

Unlike treatments that directly target cancer cells, immunotherapy works by helping your own immune system better recognize and attack them. For some patients, it can be used on its own or alongside other cancer treatments.

Dr. Elangovan Balakrishnan explains how immunotherapy is changing cancer care—and why treatment decisions are always based on the individual patient.
