🚨 Your pet has asked us to interrupt your scrolling with an important announcement:

Please check the treat cabinet.

Okay… technically we mean the prescription, medication, and veterinary diet cabinet, but your pet had creative input. 😂

WAG will be closed to patients November 7–12 while our floors get a much-needed refresh.

If your pet will need:

💊 Prescription refills
🥣 Prescription food
🐾 Preventive medications
📋 Anything else you normally pick up from us

…please take a look at what you have on hand and plan ahead.

We’ll reopen to patients Friday, November 13.

And remember: while our doors are temporarily closed for construction, our team will still be available by phone for questions, future appointments, referrals, and helping our WAG families figure out what they need.

New floors are exciting.

Realizing you’re down to one heartworm preventive?

Less exciting. 😉

You know what we don't want you to feel like at WAG?
A number.

You shouldn't feel like “the 3:30 appointment.”
You're a person with questions, concerns, a budget, a schedule, and a pet you absolutely adore.

So we listen.
We explain.
We answer the questions.
And we give you the information you need to make decisions for your pet.

Because veterinary medicine isn't just about treating animals.
It's about taking care of people, too.

That's the WAG way. 🐾

Halloween is spooky enough without an unexpected trip to the vet. 🎃👻

A few things to keep away from curious paws this Halloween:
Chocolate and candy
Sugar-free treats containing xylitol
Decorations your pet might chew or swallow
Candles and open flames
Open doors and escape artists

And remember: not every pet thinks trick-or-treaters are adorable.

If your pet would rather hide from the costumes, doorbell, and general chaos, give them a quiet space where they can relax.

Because sometimes the best Halloween plan for your pet is:
“Absolutely none of this, thank you.”😂🐾

Have a safe and spooky Halloween from the WAG crew!

You know the question.

The one you've been Googling at 11:47 PM.
“Is this normal?”
Maybe your dog is drinking more water.
Maybe your cat has started hiding.
Maybe your pet has a weird little bump you've been watching.
And maybe you're wondering if you're overreacting.

You're not.

Questions are always welcome at WAG.

We'd much rather have you ask than sit at home wondering whether something is worth worrying about.
Trust your instincts. We're here to help. 🐾

A tiny bit of calendar housekeeping from your friends at WAG. 🗓️🐾

Our hospital will be closed to patients November 7–12 while we replace our flooring.

So if your pet is due for a wellness visit, vaccines, follow-up care, or anything else you’ve been meaning to talk with us about, take a peek at your calendar now.

No panic. No countdown clock. Just a friendly nudge from the people who would much rather help you plan ahead than have you realize on November 8:

“WAIT. FLUFFY NEEDED THAT APPOINTMENT.” 😳

We’ll reopen for patient care on Friday, November 13, and our team will continue to be available by phone throughout the closure for questions, referrals, and future appointments.

We appreciate our WAG families more than you know. Thanks for giving us a few days to make the hospital an even better place for you and your pets.

WAG isn't just for those “OMG, something is wrong!” moments.
We’re here for the everyday stuff, too. 🐾

Annual wellness exams.
Preventive care.
Vaccines.
Health questions.
Senior pet checkups.
The “is this normal?” conversations.

Our goal is to become the veterinary team you know before you need us urgently.

Because having a veterinarian you trust makes those unexpected moments a whole lot less stressful.

Looking for a primary veterinarian who actually takes time to answer your questions?
We'd love to meet you.

There are a lot of reasons Dr. Hunter started WAG.

But one of the biggest?
He wanted veterinary medicine to feel a little more… human.

After working in urgent care, Dr. Hunter saw firsthand how much it matters when someone takes the time to listen, explain what's happening, and treat people with the same compassion they give their pets.

So he built WAG around that idea.

Great medicine.
Real conversations.
No judgment.
No pressure.
And hopefully a few laughs along the way.

Because pets are family and taking care of them should feel personal.
That’s WAG. 🐾

If you know us as “the place to go when something goes wrong,” we want to let you in on a little secret…
We’re also here for all the *boring* stuff. 😏🐾

Wellness exams. Preventive care. Routine checkups. Questions about that weird thing your pet has been doing for three weeks.

Because we don’t just want to be your pet’s urgent care.
We want to be your veterinarian.

WAG was built to provide excellent medicine while making sure you and your pet feel heard, informed, and genuinely cared for.

So whether your dog needs a yearly checkup or your cat suddenly decides walking normally is overrated, we’re here.

Premium veterinary care from people who actually have time for you.

Your pet can’t exactly fill out their own medical history form…
So we need YOU. 😂🐾

There are a few things your veterinarian REALLY wants to know during your pet’s checkup even if you’re not sure they’re important.

What they’re eating. What they’re doing. What’s changed. What seems weird. What you’ve Googled at 2 AM. 👀

Yep. We want to hear it.

We rounded up 7 things your veterinarian wishes you’d mention at your pet’s next checkup.

WAG looks a little different than it did when we first opened.

There are more pets.
More people.
More questionable things being removed from dogs. 😂

And now, three veterinarians.

But the important stuff hasn't changed.

We still listen.
We still want your questions.
We still believe you deserve to understand what's happening with your pet.
And we still believe taking care of the human in the room is part of taking great care of the pet.

Dr. Hunter. Dr. Miller. Dr. Genade.
Three doctors. One WAG. 💙🐾
And we're really happy you're here.
