Raised in Hermantown, Minnesota, Dr. Abby earned her bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Carthage College before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Abby is passionate about serving rural communities and building meaningful relationships with her patients. She is committed to helping people achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized, compassionate dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

When she's not at the clinic, you'll likely find her fishing with her family on Pelican Lake, hiking with her golden retriever Tucker, ice skating, or cheering on Minnesota sports teams.

Dr. Abby is currently seeing patients at Cook Dental Clinic and will begin seeing patients at Floodwood Dental Clinic in spring 2027.

Welcoming Conversations About Rural Health Care

Scenic Rivers Health Services was honored to host Minnesota State Senator Grant Hauschild during visits to our clinics in Bigfork and Cook, as well as Bigfork Valley and Cook Hospitals, where we partner to provide Emergency Room care to our communities.

The visit provided an opportunity to share the unique challenges and opportunities facing rural healthcare, including access to providers, workforce recruitment, healthcare affordability, and ensuring sustainable local care for the communities we serve.

We appreciate Senator Hauschild taking the time to meet with healthcare leaders and care teams, learn more about the vital role rural healthcare organizations play, and hear firsthand about the needs of patients across northern Minnesota.
