Sometimes the most important thing I can say as your injector is, “No more.” 🤍
Let’s talk about something that can be uncomfortable: “filler blindness.”
It’s when you become so accustomed to an enhanced appearance that it’s difficult to recognize when the balance has shifted. What once felt like a big change becomes your new normal, and adding more can start to feel necessary even when it’s no longer serving you.
This conversation is never about judgment or shame. You deserve a provider who will speak honestly and compassionately, even when it’s difficult.
When someone comes in excited for more filler, they may feel disappointed when my recommendation is to pause or consider dissolving instead. But caring about you means being willing to have that conversation.
I’m not here simply to collect your money. I’m here to make a positive impact on your life. If I don’t believe a treatment will do that, I won’t perform it.
Dr. Vollmer and the whole Glow team take that responsibility seriously. Our recommendations may not always be what you hope to hear, but they come from a place of care and professional judgment.
With this patient, we recommended dissolving rather than adding more. To my eye, her lips now look softer and more balanced, allowing her natural features to shine. More filler wasn’t what she needed.
Your trust means more to me than another syringe sold or another dollar in my pocket.
I want you to leave my chair feeling cared for, respected, and confident that our advice was given with your best interests at heart even when that advice is “no more”
