CKVL: It will be held in the back church parking lot from 10:00-3:00 on May 15.

Safety first! One of the ways we ensure that donated tissues are safe for transplantation is by testing a donor's blood.

When a donor mom's IV is put in our partner nurses draw two extra tubes of blood that are sent to the lab for testing. This testing is done to screen for infections and diseases so that we can be sure that donated tissue is safe for the patients receiving the transplanted tissue grafts.
