Whether you’ve had a total mastectomy, lumpectomy, or reconstruction, this invitation is for you.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month begins October 1, and our annual You Again Boutique Fit Event is coming up October 18–20! We’ll be fitting survivors for custom fabricated breast prostheses made to fit their individual chest wall.

A custom prosthesis can be made as a full breast form, a partial form, or a volumizer to help create balance and symmetry. These lightweight forms are designed to look and feel natural, with skin tone and ni**le options to help you choose what feels right for you. They also feature ACT cooling technology and can be worn directly against the skin with many bras—even for swimming! 🙌🏾

You may have more coverage than you realize. If you’ve met your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum, your insurance may cover the full cost. Other plans may cover a substantial portion. This morning during prayer, God brought me back to something my business partner said to me yesterday. She told me, “I hope to become as great as you are when it comes to fitting patients.”

Truthfully, I heard her… but we were so busy that I didn’t fully stop to acknowledge those words.

Yesterday was one of those challenging clinic days. We had difficult cases, including a radiation chest wall with breast implants. Our goal is always to help patients feel even, balanced, comfortable, and whole again…but sometimes that process is far from easy. Still, I keep trying. Somehow, by God’s grace, things come together.

But what my partner may not fully realize yet is how highly I think of her too.

While I was explaining to a patient, “Right now we cannot focus on a breast prosthesis. Right now we have to focus on reducing this severe lymphedema first,” Dayna was already taking action behind the scenes. Before the appointment was even over, she was making calls, sending emails, advocating for therapy approval, and working to obtain a pneumatic compression pump for the patient.

That’s who she is.

Sometimes I’ll say, “Dayna, can you get Dr. So-and-So to sign a CMN for a custom prosthesis?” and she’ll respond, “I already typed it up… I’m just waiting on the signature.”

That level of compassion, urgency, and initiative cannot be taught easily. She listens. She cares. She moves with purpose. God truly answered my prayers by bringing the right people into this journey with me.

As we continue to grow and train new employees, please pray for us. Compassion and empathy are not qualities that everyone naturally possesses. This work requires special people with a genuine heart for others.

I’m praying for one or two more people with that “it” factor. The kind of people who understand that this work is bigger than products and paperwork, it’s about helping people feel seen, restored, and cared for during some of the hardest moments of their lives. 💗

Today, on International Women’s Day, I find myself thinking about the women who sit in my chair.

Some walk in quietly after a diagnosis that changed their world overnight. Some come in after surgery, learning how to see themselves again. Some drive hours just to find a place where they feel understood.

And every single time, I witness something powerful.

I watch women who have faced cancer, hair loss, and life-altering moments look in the mirror again. At first there’s uncertainty… and then something shifts. A smile. A tear. A deep breath.

Not because a wig changed who they are, but because they remember that their strength, beauty, and identity were never taken from them.

These women are fighters.
They are survivors.
They are mothers, sisters, leaders, and warriors.

My job may be fitting wigs and prostheses, but the real privilege is witnessing women reclaim their confidence and step back into the world with their heads held high.

So today, I celebrate every woman who has had to rebuild, rediscover, or redefine herself.

You are stronger than you know.
You are more beautiful than you feel.
And your story deserves to be honored.
