I’d first want to know:

What are you already doing?

Chances are, you don’t have a shortage of marketing ideas. You’ve probably tried plenty.

Posting.

Email.

Networking.

Lead magnets.

Dms

And adding strategy #50 to the pile won’t necessarily make your client flow any more consistent.

I’d look at whether the strategies you ALREADY have are actually connected.

For example:

👉 You post…but where do people go next?

👉 Someone downloads your freebie…but what happens after that?

👉 You network…but do you follow up?

👉 Someone shows interest…but do they get a clear invitation?

👉 Someone DMs you, but do you reply?

Sometimes the issue isn’t:

“I need a better marketing strategy.”

It’s:

“I need the marketing I’m already doing to actually lead somewhere.”

That’s a VERY different problem.

There’s a weird stage of business nobody talks about enough.

You’re definitely not starting from zero anymore.

You’ve had clients. People have paid you. You KNOW you can help people.

And yet…your income can still feel random enough that you catch yourself wondering, “Does this actually count as a real business yet?”

Yep. It does.

Having proof that your business works and having a business you can depend on are 2 different milestones.

And the space between them can be frustrating as heck.

Because now you’re not trying to prove someone will hire you.

You’re trying to figure out how to create enough visibility, conversations, invitations and follow-through that getting clients stops feeling like something that just…happens occasionally.

That’s a big part of what I mean when I talk about the messy middle.

And if that’s where you are right now, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Come join us inside my free Wellness Business Unfiltered Skool community for newbie + messy-middle wellness coaches building their businesses, finding clients and figuring it out as they go.

You can work on your business all week, posting, tweaking the website, creating graphics, watching another training or researching the next marketing strategy.

All technically “working on your business.”

But if your income still feels unpredictable, I’d look at a different question:

👉 Is the work you’re repeating actually creating visibility, conversations, invitations or sales?

Consistency only helps when you’re consistent with the RIGHT things.

In my latest blog, I’m breaking down what strategic consistency actually looks like, including:

💭 the work that deserves priority when client flow is inconsistent

💭 where follow-up fits without feeling annoying or pushy

💭 how to decide what comes first when you only have limited time

💭 why knowing what to do and actually following through are 2 very different things

Before you add another strategy to your already ridiculous to-do list, read this one.

1 of the most frustrating places to be in business is:

“I swear I'm working ALL THE TIME...so why aren't I getting more clients?”

Because you ARE working.

That's what makes it so confusing.

A full calendar doesn't necessarily mean the activities filling it are creating enough opportunities for people to find you, trust you and eventually work with you.

Before you build a bigger Q4 plan, look at the work already filling your week.

💭 What's actually connected to clients?
💭 What's supporting that work?
💭 And what's mostly keeping you busy?

Sometimes the biggest shift isn't doing more.

It's finally making enough room for the work that's been getting squeezed out.

I actually talked about this in a slightly different way in my 100th blog this month. 🥳

After 100 blogs + more than 114,000 words, one of the biggest things I've learned is that consistency looks a whole lot more impressive in retrospect.

Incase you missed “The One With 100 Blogs,” read it here: https://www.alberswellness.com/blog/5-lessons-from-blogging-consistently-since-2022

So as we officially head into the final 3 months of the year...that's what I want you thinking about.

💭 What deserves MORE of your time?
💭 What deserves LESS?
💭 And what are you ready to finally stop carrying into another month? 👀

If you'd like some other wellness coaches in your corner while you figure it out, come join us inside our SKOOL community.

It's FREE, we're officially open + you definitely don't need to have your Q4 plan figured out before you join us. 😂

I published my 100th blog this month 🥳

It made me realize how most of the things that have actually grown my business didn't feel particularly impressive while I was doing them.

Sending 1 email.

Following up with 1 person.

Pitching 1 workshop.

Writing 1 blog.

Making 1 invitation.

Having 1 conversation with someone who might become a referral partner.

None of those things comes with confetti. 😂

Most of the time, you don't finish 1 of them and immediately think:

“WOW. Look at all this business growth!” 🥳

When I started blogging in 2022, I'd never written a blog of my own.

Now I've written more than 114,000 words across 100 of them.

And here's one of the biggest things writing 100 blogs has taught me:

Consistency looks a whole lot more impressive in retrospect.

It's really easy to underestimate the small things you're doing because they don't immediately give you a client, fill your workshop or double your email list.

But those ordinary actions have a chance to build on each other when you keep coming back to them.

That's true for blogging.

And it's true for a whole lot of the work that builds your business.

I shared 5 of the biggest lessons I've learned from blogging consistently since 2022 in my 100th blog, including what my very first blog got VERY wrong 😆, where my best content ideas actually come from + how I get a whole lot more mileage out of everything I write.

Your last launch didn't go the way you hoped.

You talked about the offer and barely anyone responded.

Maybe you sold 1 spot.

Maybe none.

And now suddenly...

You have a GREAT idea for something completely new😂.

Can you relate?

Sometimes the new idea really is better.

But most of the time?

The new offer feels exciting because it hasn't disappointed you yet.

There's no awkward launch attached to it.

No unanswered sales emails.

No evidence you have to look at.

Just possibility.

Before you start building from scratch, ask yourself:

Is my existing offer actually wrong...or does it just need another chance, a different message or title, more eyes on it, or a few adjustments?

Don't make your business start over just because starting over feels emotionally easier.

And while we're on the subject of starting over...October doesn't need to be another “Okay, THIS month I'm finally going to get my business together” month. 😅

Keep what’s working.

Adjust what needs adjusting.

Get support when you’re stuck + keep going.

Oh, and in case you missed it...my SKOOL community is officially open 🎉

Come join my FREE community for wellness coaches to ask questions, get perspective + have other coaches in their corner while they figure out what comes next.

Don't start another month doing it all alone. 💛

Business would be MUCH easier if every action gave us immediate confirmation that we'd made the right choice. 😂

Unfortunately...

Sometimes a great email gets 2 replies, the workshop doesn't fill or you make an offer and nobody buys.

That's frustrating.

But there is a huge difference between:

“That didn't give me the result I wanted.”

and

“This doesn't work.”

One gives you somewhere to go next.

The other sends you back to square 1.

If you're tired of trying to figure out every messy business moment by yourself...

You missed sending out the newsletter.
Missed posting for a day.
Didn't send the outreach emails you planned.
Suddenly it's over halfway through the month and you think...

"Welp. This month's a wash."

Then Monday becomes:

"I'll start fresh next week."

Or next month.

And before you know it, 1 messy week has turned into a month away from the things you said mattered.

And 1 month becomes 2.

The missed week wasn't the biggest problem.

Deciding you had to START OVER was.

You don't.

Look at where you are TODAY.

Choose the next useful action that has potential to lead to revenue or build your email list.

Then continue.

You don't need a dramatic comeback, color-coded new plan or waiting until Monday.

Resume. Don't restart.

And resuming is a whole lot easier when you're not doing it alone💛.

That's 1 of the reasons I launched a skool community for wellness coaches.

It's a place to come back to when you need some connection, support + a reminder that everyone has messy weeks in business. (Yes, even the coaches who look like they have it all together😅).

This 1 can be sneaky.

You started the year wanting more clients.

Then you watched someone else launch a group program.

Someone hit $5K.

Someone grew their list to 2,000 people.

Someone started speaking on podcasts.

And somewhere along the way, their milestones got added to yours.

Now you're disappointed because you're not accomplishing goals you didn't even start the year wanting. 😅

Before you decide you're behind, come back to YOUR business.

🤔 What did you actually want this year?
🤔 What matters to you now?
🤔 What would meaningful progress look like from where you are today?

You can absolutely want more for your business.

Just make sure you're measuring your progress against a destination you actually chose.

And while we're talking about building YOUR version of a successful wellness business...I have something fun to share. 🎉

My SKOOL community is officially OPEN!

I wanted to create a free space where wellness coaches could have real conversations about building a business...the wins, the questions, the messy middle moments + all the stuff that doesn't make it onto the highlight reel.

A place to connect with other wellness coaches, get some support + have a business home base you can keep coming back to as you figure out what your next step looks like.

It's completely free to join. Excited to welcome you in.....https://www.skool.com/wellness-business-4593
