Chris is so much more than a familiar face at Belfiore. She’s one of the hearts behind everything we do. From taking care of our patients to keeping us all on our toes, she brings so much love, laughter, knowledge, and personality to this place.

We’ve built something pretty special here at Belfiore, and so much of that is because of her. Her dedication to our patients and the people around her never goes unnoticed.

Platysmal bands + tox: what are we actually treating?

Those vertical cords that become more noticeable when you tense your neck are often the platysma muscle bands.
When appropriate, neuromodulator (tox) can be used to temporarily reduce platysma muscle activity, which may soften the appearance of these bands and create a smoother-looking neck and jawline.

In this before & after, notice the change in the visibility and prominence of the platysmal bands. This is not the same as treating loose skin or excess fat.
