Safe Kids Northwest Indiana

We're so excited to BEE at the Laporte County Family Resource Center's Trunk or Treat tonight from 5-6:30pm (CDT) 🎃🐝

We are having a BOO-tiful time connecting with families and sharing our BEE Safe Halloween message reminding caregivers that booster seat safety is an important part of every adventure! 🚗💛 Making sure children ride in the right booster seat and are buckled up correctly helps keep our little bees safe wherever the road takes them.

Halloween may be full of tricks and treats, but when it comes to car seat safety, there’s no trick to it — the right fit and proper buckling make all the difference! 🐝🖤

🍯 BEE smart, BEE safe, and make every ride a safe one! 💛🐝

🚌💛 It's National School Bus Safety Week!

Every day, millions of children rely on school buses to get to and from school safely. As drivers, we all play an important role in protecting them!

🚦 STOP when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.

👀 WATCH for children crossing streets and getting on or off buses.

🚗 SLOW DOWN in school zones and neighborhoods.

📵 STAY ALERT and eliminate distractions behind the wheel.

A few extra seconds of caution can prevent a lifetime of consequences. Let's work together to make every bus stop a safe one!

Every child deserves a safe ride to school and a safe trip home. 💛

🐝🎃 BEE Safe This Halloween Season! 🎃🐝

We are having a spook-tacular time attending The Town of Merrillville's Annual Trunk or Treat at the Dean & Barbara White Community Center. We love sharing our BEE Safe Halloween message with families! 🍬👻🐝

We love any opportunity to connect with caregivers and the community to talk about the importance of BOOster seat use and keeping our little ones safe on every ride‼️ 🚗👻

Halloween is full of fun, costumes, and sweet treats, but safety is always in season! 🐝 We encouraged families to make sure their little ones are riding in the right booster seat, buckled up properly, and safe on every trip — because protecting our little bees is what matters most! 💛🖤

🍯🐝 Remember: Be sweet, be safe, and BEE sure your little ones are buckled up!
