Back in April(?), I had to shower at my mom’s house bc we lost power and I didn’t have any hydration oils for my face so I stopped at CVS, looked at the ingredients and grabbed this one.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The DERMA E Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Oil is budget friendly (in the $20 range), it’s a facial treatment designed to smooth fine lines, deeply hydrate dry skin, and improve overall texture & I would buy it again because of its clean ingredients & feeling on my skin!

Random people still ask me questions about products so I thought I’d highlight this one real quick, that is all!

Spoiler alert, I don’t wash my hair every day (2x a week if I’m being honest 🫣) so I turn to dry shampoo powder AND every once in a while, some hair perfume.. a lightweight fragrance mist keeping my locks smelling fresh. I LOVE this spray but pretty sure it’s not designed for hair as it contains alcohol.

Obviously it’s causing some damage to my hair, per my previous post 🙂‍↕️. Are there any brands specifically made for hair that we love? The more natural the better please and thank you 🥰

One of my FAVORITE Solle supplements (my husband’s too;) I take 2 capsules each morning due to fluctuating and declining estrogen, leading to common cognitive symptoms like “brain fog,” memory issues, difficulty concentrating, and mood changes. Super fun.

This is definitely one of my top 5 favorites if you’re not sure where to begin with plant based goodness ❤️

Any other woman over 40 get the question, “why is your hair always in a sloppy pony, it looks so pretty down?” And you feel like answering, “USED TO look pretty free & flowing is the key word.. my texture has been off for the last freaking decade, I can’t manage how oily or dry it seems to stay, somehow simultaneously & it needs to stop touching my face”. Seriously though, I’m this close to chopping it all off just like Shelby.

I follow the rules; only wash 2x/week with sulfate free shampoos, hydrate my ends with conditioning mask, use a boar bristle hair brush to massage/stimulate the scalp, hats in the sun most of the time, tried a silk pillowcase (nope.), and I get enough iron, protein & omega3 vitamins.

On the flip side, I try to manage my stress and hormones on a daily basis but I also never drink enough water. Are these the only things I’m doing wrong? What is the answer here. It’s just hair, I know, but I’m over it 🤪🙃.

I still like & use my Nettle Hair Treatment Oil but would love if you had any other ideas 😘

Until then, another day, another sloppy pony.
