This is so good.
Most couples try to start at the top.
A fight happens and they reach for repair. The apology, the talk, the fresh start.
And it doesn't hold. Repair is the top rung. It works by using empathy, curiosity, and validation together, and those only land when there is safety underneath them.
That is why I teach it in this order. Foundation first: make the relationship a priority, build a safe haven, agree on how you want to treat each other. Then the four skills, one at a time.
If you are standing on the ground right now, in the assumptions and the defensiveness and the distance, you are not behind. That is where most couples start. Look for the lowest rung you haven't built yet and begin there.
It is the order of Relationship Super Powers, my course for couples: five modules, 24 lessons, one rung at a time, with practices and worksheets along the way.
It is one payment with lifetime access, and there is a full lesson on the page that you can read free before you decide: https://www.learnhealthrive.ca/relationshipsuperpowers
