It’s time for a Monday Connection Moment…
“It’s a new season.” That’s the message our pastor opened with this past Sunday, and it got me thinking…
How many of us are praying for something new while holding on to everything that keeps us comfortable?
We want success, but only if it doesn’t require us to get uncomfortable. We want growth, but only if we can control how it happens. We celebrate our wins, but when failure comes, instead of learning from it and finding the courage to try again, we retreat to what we’ve already mastered. We keep choosing the familiar, even when God is calling us toward something greater.
But what if the very thing standing between you and your next season is your unwillingness to leave the last one?
Not anymore.
If I want to see what God can do through my gifts, I have to be willing to step onto the stage before the music starts playing. I have to stop waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect opportunity, or the perfect version of myself to show up. Because sometimes, faith means moving before you have all the answers. Sometimes, obedience means taking the first step while your knees are still shaking.
You cannot become everything God has called you to be while insisting on remaining everything you’ve always been.
A new season requires a new response. New courage. New faith. New willingness to try again, even after the last attempt left you disappointed.
The season is changing. The question is, will you change with it?
🔥 Stop waiting for the music. Step onto the stage. Your next season won’t be unlocked by the comfort of what you know, but by the faith to step into what God is calling you to become.
