The Glebe Retirement Community Premiere Retirement Living in Roanoke VA The Glebe opened its doors in 2005.

Today, this faith-based non-profit retirement community is home to more than 200 people. Our residents look forward to The Glebe Legacy Club each year, and we are grateful to be celebrating the 13th year of this meaningful partnership with the students from RMMS!

The energy, curiosity, and kindness the students bring enrich the lives of our residents in countless ways. From sharing stories and experiences to creating lasting friendships across generations, this program reminds us all that connection has no age limit!

What a day at The Glebe!⛳

Thanks to our players, sponsors, donors, and supporters, the 2026 Memorial Green Short Golf Game Tournament raised nearly $4,300 for The Glebe Benevolent Fund.

Celebrating Foodservice Workers Week at The Glebe!

This week, we’re shining a well-deserved spotlight on the incredible Food & Beverage team members who do so much more than simply serve meals.

Every day, they bring care, kindness, hard work, and a familiar smile to the table. They know our residents’ favorite dishes, remember the little things, celebrate special occasions, and help turn mealtime into something our residents look forward to each day.

From the kitchen to the dining room and everywhere in between, it takes an amazing team to make it all happen—and we are so grateful for each and every one of them. ❤️

🦙🚂 Two epic day trips, one unforgettable week!

We kicked things off with a visit to the SML Alpaca Farm to hang out with the fluffiest crew around, followed by a perfect lunch and some well-deserved ice cream. 🍦✨

Round two took us to the Virginia Transportation Museum for an amazing guided tour—the kids (and adults!) were completely blown away by the massive steam locomotives and history! 🚂🚉

Your heartfelt testimonials and confidence in speaking to a room full of residents were truly inspiring. It was wonderful to hear firsthand about the impact this intergenerational program has had on you, as well as the meaningful connections formed along the way.
