▫️NICUs that encourage 24/7 parent visitation

▫️Those super special neonatologists, NNPs, nurses, and other providers who you keep up with for years after discharge
▫️Doula trainings that teach about supporting NICU families

If you’re a birth worker, does minimum viability play into your support of clients in any way? OR, is this the first time you’ve really thought about it or heard of it? ⬇️

I’ve been wanting to start this group for years, and in an attempt to embrace progress over perfection, we’ll be meeting for the first time THIS Tuesday at 7pm CST!

What to know:

◽️ What: a virtual FREE weekly peer-to-peer support group for NICU families

You MUST register through the link in my bio. This is because we want to keep the group small for now, and see how things unfold.

You do not need to attend every week, but you do need to register for the weeks you’d like to join so we know who to expect. Thank you!

◽️ When: We meet every Tuesday at 7pm CST. Please come and go as you like.

I encourage you to show up in whatever capacity feels best for you: camera on or off, with your voice or through chat, or just observing. All are welcome and appreciated.

◽️ Who: If you are anticipating a NICU stay, currently in the NICU, or are navigating life after the NICU, you’re welcome!

About 100 transgender men have entered the Miss Italy pageant to protest its exclusion of trans women.

Pageant organizer Patrizia Mirigliani has made clear that the competition is open only to contestants who were assigned female at birth. “I was like, ‘Yeah, well, I was assigned female at birth, but they would reject me because I look like a boy, and they would consider me as a boy,’” said trans man Federico Barbarossa.
