By working with Access TeleCare to better align onsite and virtual stroke teams, a 352-bed hospital reduced its average door-to-needle time by 52.9 minutes. In one year, the hospital also reported a 43% increase in patients treated per month for acute ischemic stroke.

Our new whitepaper examines how hospitals can integrate teleStroke into activation, imaging, treatment, and quality-improvement workflows to support faster, more reliable care.

Hospital leaders need specialty care strategies that work across changing census, workforce limitations, and multiple sites of care. Access TeleCare partners with hospitals and health systems to design telemedicine programs around their clinical and operational needs, from a single service-line gap to enterprise-wide specialty coverage. The goal is reliable access that strengthens local teams and gives more patients a path to appropriate care close to home.

If you'll be at the Arizona Hospital Leadership Conference in Tucson, let's talk about a specialty coverage model built for your organization. Explore Access TeleCare's telemedicine specialties: https://accesstelecare.com/specialties/

When a premature, medically complex newborn required continuous EEG monitoring, a hospital needed neurology coverage for EEG interpretation to confirm or rule out seizure activity.

Access TeleCare provided the neurological expertise to follow the newborn's brain activity over four days. With our teleEEG support, the onsite clinical team avoided transferring the infant and potentially risky treatment.

Neurologic expertise is unevenly distributed across the country, but a neurologist's impact does not have to be limited by geography. Access TeleCare brings timely neurology care to hospitals across the country, via integrated telemedicine, collaborating with bedside teams on acute stroke, inpatient neurology, EEG, and other neurologic needs. Clinicians can take on meaningful clinical work while extending specialty care to patients who might otherwise face delays or transfer.

Our recruiting team will be at the American Neurological Association Annual Conference in San Diego. Visit Booth 7 to learn how you can make a broader clinical impact through teleNeurology.

Here's a great example of telemedicine doing what it does best: delivering a positive health outcome over a wide geography with continuity of care across multiple locations and both inpatient and outpatient settings.

After a recurrent staph infection was traced to an infected stent, Access TeleCare's outpatient infectious disease specialist managed six weeks of IV antibiotics and transitioned the patient to suppressive oral therapy.

But when your patient is in New Mexico where access to specialized treatment and testing is sparse, the opportunity to stop the infection revealed itself through telemedicine available at the two facilities where the patient received treatment. By working with onsite teams at both hospitals, Access TeleCare's teleInfectious Disease specialist rooted out the source of the infection and developed a treatment plan.

Today, he remains fever-free, infection-free, and back to riding his motorcycle across the Southwest.
