As Dr. Durkee approaches retirement, she would like to remind her patients to continue getting supplements with a patient discount, use the links on the website and follow the sign-in directions. Fullscript carries most of the brands in one space.

Dr. Ruth Durkee has been in private practice since 1995 and is starting a new chapter. She is now preparing, with sadness and excitement, to retire at the end of October 2026. Dr. Durkee will continue to see her patients by appointment only until that time.

For heartburn relief, sleep on your left side, as this position uses gravity and your stomach's anatomy to keep acid down, making it harder to flow into your esophagus compared to lying on your back or right side. Avoid sleeping flat or on your right side, as these can worsen reflux, and elevate your head and upper body with wedges for better results.
