Welcome back to the Perimenopause Group Chat. 😂💬

Working out like you always have…but your body suddenly changed the rules without sending the memo? 😭

Bloating. Body composition changes. Low energy. Poor sleep. Perimenopause can show up in ways we don’t always immediately connect to hormones.

My patient shares how she was feeling BEFORE HRT versus how she’s feeling now. 🙌🏽

Moral of the story: keep working out…but check on those hormones too, sis. 😂💕

This before & after is such a good example of why laser hair removal can be about so much more than simply getting rid of unwanted hair. 🙌🏾

Constant plucking, tweezing, and shaving can contribute to irritation, ingrown hairs, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation—especially in the chin and neck area. With a consistent laser hair removal treatment series, my patient has had a significant reduction in hair growth AND improvement in the appearance of her hyperpigmentation. 👏🏾

🤎 And yes, melanated skin can be treated safely! The technology I use is designed to safely treat a wide range of skin tones when appropriate settings and protocols are used.

And we have to talk about hormonal hair! 👀
Chin and neck hair can sometimes be influenced by hormonal changes, which means laser can significantly reduce the amount and thickness of the hair, but maintenance treatments may still be needed over time.
