Sometimes recovery is about getting back to the little things that make life feel like yours again.
Preparing a meal. Getting dressed. Navigating your home. Returning to a favorite hobby. Finding a new way to do something you once did without thinking twice.
Occupational therapists help turn recovery into everyday independence by helping people adapt, rebuild skills, and work toward the activities that matter most to them.
On World Occupational Therapy Day, we’re grateful for the OTs who help individuals recovering from serious injuries get back to doing more of what makes them feel like themselves.
