We are truly humbled and grateful.

We don't take it lightly when patients trust us with their pain, their healing, and their lives. Words like these remind us why we do what we do:

"Just when I had given up and thought I was going to live in pain for the rest of my life… in just one session, my pain was immensely decreased."

"She has been the physical therapist that has saved me."

"Her work truly takes into account the whole person — which is what is required for sustained healing."

Every person who walks through our doors deserves to be heard, understood, and cared for. That is our commitment, not just to treat pain, but to walk alongside you toward a fuller, freer life.

Thank you for trusting us with your healing journey. 🙏

“If your MRI looks bad… your pain makes sense.”

But what if that’s not the full story?

This TEDx talk by pain scientist Lorimer Moseley explains something most people are never taught:

👉 Pain is created by the brain to protect you
👉 It’s influenced by stress, past experiences, and beliefs
👉 It’s not always equal to tissue damage

Which means…

✨ Your pain is real
✨ AND it can change

At Agape Tree Physical Therapy, we take a different approach.

We don’t just treat the area that hurts—we help retrain your nervous system so your body feels safe again.

Because when your body feels safe… it stops needing to protect you with pain.

If you’ve felt stuck or confused by your pain, this might shift everything.

Save this. Watch the video. Then ask yourself:
“What if my pain is changeable?”

If you’ve ever been told “your pain is just from wear and tear” or “you’ll just have to live with it”… this is a must watch.

This TEDx talk by Lorimer Moseley explains something I wish every patient understood:

👉 Pain is not just coming from your tissues
👉 Pain is created by the brain to protect you
👉 And sometimes… that system becomes overprotective

Pain is real—but it’s not always an accurate measure of damage.

This is why:
• You can have severe pain with little tissue damage
• You can have significant “damage” with little to no pain
• Chronic pain can persist long after healing has occurred

And most importantly…

✨ Pain can change.

At Agape Tree Physical Therapy, this is exactly how we approach treatment.

We don’t just chase symptoms—we work to understand:
✔️ How your nervous system is responding
✔️ What your body has learned about pain
✔️ How movement, breath, and awareness can “turn down the alarm system”

Our goal is to:
• Reduce sensitivity in the nervous system
• Restore confidence in movement
• Help your body feel safe again

Because when your body feels safe… it stops needing to protect you with pain.

If you’ve been stuck in pain and nothing has made sense, this perspective can be a turning point.

👉 Watch this, then ask yourself:
“What if my pain is changeable?”

Did you know women experience chronic pain differently than men — and science is finally catching up?

New research shows that hormone-regulated immune cells make women more sensitive to pain and slower to recover. If you’ve been told “it’s just stress” or “learn to live with it” — you deserve better answers.

At Agape Tree Physical Therapy, we dig deeper. We look at the whole person — your body, your lifestyle, your stress, your spirit — because that’s where real healing begins.

Your pain has a root. Let’s find it together.

Insurance-based PT can be helpful, but it doesn’t always allow enough one-on-one time to address everything you’re feeling or provide lasting relief.

At Agape Tree Physical Therapy, we’re here to fill in the gaps and give you the focused care you may be missing.

Adjunct sessions offer extra hands-on support to reduce pain, improve mobility, and help keep you progressing between your regular PT visits.
