Holiday and day off, lots to do outside in the yard. Early morning meal to power it up. Ribeye and couple of eggs.

200 lbs ago I used to get biscuits and gravy with hash browns and a waffle on the side. Now it’s strictly carnivore when I go. But don’t eat out often, but once in rare while we go out as a family.

This is why I do what I do these last two years, strict carnivore with sprinkle of keto on the weekends.

Got my yearly blood work back tonight, had good news and some need to work on. Good news was my eGFR has improved last 2 years since been mostly carnivore from 87 to 101. So my kidney function has improved. My A1C has risen from 4.5 this past year to 5.1, only change is introducing fruit in my diet, now realize that was a mistake. So starting tomorrow no more fruit for me. Lesson learned, may have reversed my type 2 diabetes from A1C of 10.2, but still sensitive to it and need to be more strict to keep it reversed for good. Now I know.

Went for my yearly Wellness exam and again doc wanted me take statins. Said I reversed my diabetes, high BP, and gout, why are you always pushing statins on me every year? He wouldn’t answer, but we all know why. Waiting for my blood test results. See how they went this year.

Starting fast next week, so this will be my last salad need to be more strict on carbs beforehand. This is my favorite keto meal, baby arugula, cucumber, purple onion, cottage cheese, tomatoes, olive oil and red w**e vinegar and tonight topped with shredded steak.

Meal #2 today. 4 oz beef liver, cottage cheese (Daisy), and can of sardines. 49g protein. Update stuck right at 200. Thinking of fasting again starting October 1st for a week or more. 3 days dry then finish with water fast after. These last 35 pounds are way harder to lose than the first 200. Sounds weird, but definitely true for me.
