Busy month assisting older adults with downsizing and helping some of them getting moved. Completed several assisted living tours and supporting questions from the families and also continued working with local agencies to help with a difficult placement case (dementia).

Our team stayed busy with estate sales and cleaning out a couple of properties and a large storage unit with hired help. One more property almost ready to sell in early November. Setup items for staging. Shipped two large sold items on eBay and snapped the Breast Cancer display image while at the USPS.

Visited a good friend and met her deaf dog and played catch! Makes me miss my big puppy Penny who we lost Dec 2024.

Took an an elderly family member to Advent Health ER and then he was admitted into ICU for a few days. No fun there but he was discharged finally. Found an old pic of my son from elementary school days and added here. Added other pucs including a couple of other favorites.

Busy day! Started with a network meeting over a fantastic breakfast at the Boston Coffee House in Deland with Cindi from Reliable Mortgages. We first met when she presented recently during my real estate license training class and I knew this was someone special. She has a lot to offer home buyers with a mortgage solution for every situation and is super friendly!
Today we learned more about each other and decided to become referral partners to help connect more seniors to our senior transition services and home buyers to mortgage solutions.
We shared some of our trusted referral partners in homecare, real estate, therapist, and attorney.
Cindi invited me to her next BNI charter meeting. I like the idea of once monthly in person meetings and others are via zoom. I am looking forward to expanding our network.
I also highly recommend trying the Boston Coffee House.,109 E.New York 109 E.New York Ave, Deland.
This was my second visit gor the best tasting coffee and sandwiches.

One more piece of furniture picked up and on its way to the new owner in NC. New owner will hopefully cherish this very ornate hand painted china/display cabinet as much as the prior one.
Top Shelf Moving Team were efficient and friendly! The wife was a CNA up until Covid in 2020 and shared how she could no longer handle the emotions of caring for so many elderly who passed during Covid. We also shared a tear or two.
She joined her family's moving business to recover and hopes to return to the health care industry some day.
I shared some of what we do to assist seniors with downsizing and placements with Caring Seniors Solutions and we exchanged contact info before they had to get on I-95 and head towards the Carolinas. We hope to stay in touch. Making connections like this warms my heart.
