CCTP out tonight soaking in some tunes with Funky Butt Brass Band at Festus Sunset Park. Brought along Luna to get her out and about. Beautiful night for some cool tunes chilling with the pups.

It's always good when we get to see so many familiar happy faces during our Canine Companion Therapy Program visits. We kicked off the 2026-2027 school year at Kingston K-14: Primary/Elementary and Kingston K-14 School District-Home of the Cougars this morning. We are looking forward to making many new friends in the months ahead. Ernie and Loki visited the library while Smoky and Ranger visited the Pre-K and SPED classrooms. Then we all visited the Junior High & High School where we were warmly welcomed back by students and staff alike there, as well! Thank you to the staff, teachers, secretaries and librarians at both buildings who make these visits possible each year!

Schools have started and so have our school visits. Hershey even helped some of the kids with their schoolwork😂

Today, we want to congratulate Kay as she steps up to take on the role of Treasurer. We are so grateful that she is willing to serve and help carry forward the mission that means so much to all of us. We know she will bring her own dedication, heart, and commitment to the position. 🐶❤️

We also want to take a moment to recognize and thank Monica, who has served as Treasurer since 2025. We truly appreciate everything she has done in that role and the time and effort she has given to our organization.

The good news is that Monica isn’t going anywhere! 😊 She will be taking on a different role within the organization, and we are so happy that she will continue to be part of our journey.

Change is part of growth, and we are excited for this next chapter. To Kay—thank you for stepping up and being willing to serve. To Monica—thank you for all you’ve done and for continuing to be a part of the Canine Companion family.

We are incredibly proud of the people who continue to give their time, talents, and hearts to this organization. Together, we keep the mission moving forward, one dog and one life touched at a time. 🐾❤️

Congratulations, Kay! And thank you, Monica! ❤️🐕

Teams were invited to VA St. Louis Health Care System today to mingle with some of the areas brave men and women as they learn more about VA resources available to them at VA Vet Fest 2026. We got to hear alot of great stories as we made our way around the floor and everyone appreciates a chance to pet our dogs. Who knew that mules make great touch therapy animals also. Awesome! Great day to give back to our military veterans. Thank you all for your service.
