What an absolute blast at today’s VA Mixer! 🍁🎃

We had the best time painting pumpkins, decorating cookies, coloring, and just getting to sit back and enjoy really great company.

A huge thank you to the Decatur DAV, Kayla Jones, and all the members who show up for our facility every single time without fail. We are so truly blessed for your partnership and everything you do for us!

Big thanks also to Kani with Concho Hearts and Traci with Angels Home Health for coming out and spending time with us today. We appreciate you ladies so much!

THERAPY SUCCESS STORY

MR. HARP’S INCREDIBLE COMEBACK!

When Mr. Harp first came to DML, he arrived at a wheelchair level and was unable to walk more than 4 feet.

He came to therapy with one big goal: to get his independence back.

And he went to WORK. 💪

From 4 feet to 2,000+ feet. From relying on a wheelchair to regaining his independence. ❤️

That is what determination looks like.

We couldn’t be more proud of Mr. Harp and the incredible comeback he has made. His story is such a powerful reminder that progress takes time, consistency, teamwork, and a willingness to keep showing up.

👏 Way to go, Mr. Harp! You earned every single step!

HAT BAR for all! We had a fabulous day yesterday 🌟 Huge thank you to Concho Hearts Hospice & Angels Care Home Health for providing all the fun patches for our therapy crew 💙 Residents had a blast making new Red Hat Bingo hats ❤️ All the festivities were followed up with a delicious TEA BAR hosted by 1st Texas Home Health 🥤 We sure are lucky to have such a great community 😀
