Another AERIS Airway® evaluation just came in, and this note made our week: "We have already ordered more!"

That came from a DNAP, CRNA at a facial plastic surgery practice after a face and neck lift with CO₂ laser resurfacing under deep sedation. They rated the EtCO₂ waveform and oxygen delivery better than what they typically use, and they were Very Satisfied overall.

That response fits what we keep hearing from anesthesia providers in the field:
• >90% rated AERIS Airway Satisfied or Very Satisfied
• 100% rated the EtCO₂ waveform the same or better than a nasal cannula or face mask
• 95% rated oxygen delivery the same or better

Deep sedation and TIVA call for reliable capnography and dependable oxygen delivery. Hearing that from the clinicians who use AERIS® every day is what drives our team.

Thank you to every provider who has taken the time to evaluate AERIS and share their feedback. Want to see the difference in your own practice? Request a complimentary sample here: https://airwayinnovations.com/request-a-sample

When a clinician with Dr. Andrew Herlich's credentials says a new device matters, people listen.

Dr. Herlich, DMD, MD, FAAP, FASA, is Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and former Interim Chair of Dental Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He has spent his career training clinicians and advancing patient safety during anesthesia and sedation.

At the recent American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons - AAOMS Annual Meeting in Seattle, he joined us at our booth to share why he believes the AERIS Airway® is such an important new tool for oral surgeons and dental anesthesiologists.

His message is simple. During oral surgery procedures under deep IV sedation, reliable oxygen delivery and trustworthy CO₂ monitoring are essential. AERIS® was built for exactly that.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Herlich for his support, his trust in our team, and his commitment to safer anesthesia care. Having a clinician and educator of his stature stand behind AERIS means a great deal to all of us at Airway Innovations.

Watch the video to hear Dr. Herlich in his own words.

If you provide deep sedation in your practice, we would love for you to see the difference for yourself.

The AERIS Airway® was a hit at The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) ANESTHESIOLOGY® 2026 in San Diego!

Thank you to the many anesthesiologists who stopped by our booth. We had great hands-on conversations about supporting oxygenation and ventilation during deep sedation and TIVA.

Clinicians saw how the AERIS Airway works seamlessly with the airways they already use:
•AERIS fits in standard Guedel OPAs
•AERIS fits in standard NPAs

The result:
•Airway Patency
•Direct Oxygen Delivery to the Supraglottis
•Dependable Capnography

The feedback we heard reinforced why we built AERIS: simple, safer sedation.

A big thank you to our team for a great week in San Diego.

If we didn't connect at the booth, we'd be glad to set up a demo or get samples to your team.

The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) ANESTHESIOLOGY 2026 is underway in San Diego, and we'd love to see you at Booth #2249.

Stop by for a hands-on demo of the AERIS Airway® and see how it turns the OPA and NPA you already use into a single solution for airway patency, oxygen delivery, and ventilation monitoring.

Two respected anesthesiologists are part of our team at the booth:
• Andrew Herlich, DMD, MD, FAAP, FASA - Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and a nationally recognized expert in airway management. He served as Chief Anesthesiologist at UPMC Eye and Ear Hospital and UPMC Mercy, and as Interim Chair of Dental Anesthesiology at Pitt's School of Dental Medicine. He is also a recipient of the AAOMS Distinguished Service Award.

• Eric Wardrip, MD - Board-certified anesthesiologist with more than 40 years in clinical practice, currently with UCSD Center for Surgery of Encinitas.

Also at the booth:
• Cody Birch, DNAP, Co-Inventor of the AERIS Airway
• Joe Voss, Director of Sales
• Paul Fehrenbacher, CEO

The exhibit hall is open today until 5 pm PT and tomorrow from 10 am - 1:30 pm PT. Come see us at Booth #2249.

Every CRNA has a system that works. So why change it?

That was Dr. Scott Imus's first reaction to the AERIS Airway®. Then he saw the difference in his own deep sedation cases: better oxygenation and a more accurate CO₂ waveform. Now he uses it in every one.

Scott is a CRNA and Full-Time Associate Professor of Nurse Anesthesia at Midwestern University in Glendale. He also serves as a clinical advisor to Airway Innovations™. When someone who trains the next generation of anesthesia providers changes his own practice, it's worth taking a look.

Skeptics make the best advocates. Thank you, Scott, for sharing your experience.

If you manage the airway during deep sedation, we'd welcome your feedback too. Request a sample at: https://airwayinnovations.com/request-a-sample

Thank you to Beyond the Mask Podcast🎙️ hosts Sharon Pearce, DNP, CRNA, FAANA, FAAN, former President of the AANA, and Jeremy Stanley, EA, CFP®, AIF®, for featuring two people who mean a great deal to Airway Innovations™.

Wendy Monrad, MSN, CRNA, was our very first customer who wanted to order the AERIS Airway® as soon as she saw it.

Scott Imus, EdD, MSN, CRNA, now a clinical advisor to Airway Innovations, was initially skeptical of the need for AERIS. Today, he uses it in all of his deep sedation cases.

In today’s episode, Wendy and Scott discuss why “we’ve always done it this way” is no longer the best or safest way to oxygenate and monitor ventilation now that the AERIS Airway is available.

When a routine deep sedation case begins to drift toward airway obstruction, clinicians may “MacGyver” or improvise to maintain patency, deliver oxygen closer to the airway, obtain more reliable capnography and create a more stable airway setup. This is precisely what the AERIS Airway® was designed to do. It bridges the clinical gap between basic oxygen delivery devices and more advanced airway interventions to proactively support oxygenation, ventilation and airway patency with a standardized solution. Instead of a workaround, AERIS integrates with the oral and nasopharyngeal airways already used to create an advanced airway platform. Learn more @ https://hubs.ly/Q04zgPX50

What a first AAOMS conference!

This year's American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons - AAOMS (AAOMS) Annual Meeting in Seattle this past week was our first oral and maxillofacial surgery conference, and the response to the AERIS Airway® was incredible. New and established OMS providers alike came by the booth to see the device, ask questions, and talk through how AERIS® fits into their office-based sedation workflow.

We were grateful to have our esteemed KOL, Dr. Andrew Herlich, with us in Seattle. His experience in both dental and medical anesthesiology made a big difference in every conversation at the booth. Here is what he has to say about AERIS:

"AERIS provides much more effective oxygenation than nasal cannulas and delivers an end-tidal CO2 waveform during spontaneous ventilation that is remarkably close to that of an endotracheal tube. This is an amazing device."
~Andrew Herlich, DMD, MD, FAAP, FASA, FAAOMS (H), Dual-Trained in Dental and Medical Anesthesiology; Prof. Emeritus and Former Chair of Dental Anesthesiology, Univ. of Pittsburgh

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and to AAOMS for a great meeting. We even had a visit from a local celebrity, though he did not leave a business card.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and helping OMS practices make sedation safer for every patient!
