Meredith Hirsh and Dr. Marc Hirsh attended the RPPA Rheumatology Growth Summit to connect with fellow healthcare leaders and discuss how independent rheumatology practices can strengthen their visibility, build trust and grow their brands.

Meredith shared insights from her advertising and marketing experience during the panel, “Stay Visible, Stay Independent: How to Market Your Rheumatology Practice and Build Its Brand Through Every Stage,” highlighting the importance of consistent communication and creating a strong patient experience at every touchpoint.

Florida Society of Rheumatology (FSR) members joined colleagues from across the country in Washington, D.C., on October 2–3 for the 2026 Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations (CSRO) Advocacy Conference.

During the conference, FSR members, including Dr. Marc Hirsh and Meredith Hirsh, met with congressional offices, including those of Senators Ashley Moody and Rick Scott and Representatives Anna Paulina Luna, Laurel Lee and Jared Moskowitz, to discuss policies affecting rheumatology patients and practices.

Key topics included Part B drug reimbursement, PBM reform, underwater biosimilars, step therapy and prior authorization reform. These discussions focused on educating congressional staff about the challenges facing rheumatology care and advocating for policies that protect patient access to treatment.
