🥳 Happy National Midwifery Week! 🥳

There’s something special about midwifery. The time to listen, the space to ask questions, and the willingness to sit with you, pray with you, and walk alongside you through one of life’s most transformative seasons.

Midwifery is about more than catching babies. It’s about relationships, honoring the wisdom of the body, and caring for the whole woman and family. 💛

A special thank you to Kristin for the wisdom, compassion, and heart she pours into the women, babies, and families she serves. We’re so grateful for the care she brings to our community!

The women beside you in labor matter.

The ones who notice what you need, help you find comfort, stay with you through the waves, and pray over you when you need it most.

Birth is vulnerable. You deserve to feel safe, supported, and cared for throughout it. 💛

Now that our big news is out and Covenant Life has found a new home, we want to invite you into the next part of our story. 🏡

Opening and operating a space for direct primary care, family wellness, midwifery, and doula services comes with real costs, but our vision is bigger than a building.

Our mission is to serve women and families through compassionate, relationship-based care. That means working to reduce maternal and infant mortality among women of color by providing access to a midwife and/or doula as funding allows. It also means lightening the load for women who choose life for their babies.

As we grow, we hope to offer direct primary care subscriptions to families who otherwise couldn’t afford them.

Your giving helps make this work possible.

We believe God has called us to build something that serves this community well. As we pray over this next chapter, we also know that God often provides through His people.

“Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your produce.”
Proverbs 3:9

If you believe in what we’re building, would you consider giving toward this work?

Every gift helps us create a place where women and families are supported and deeply cared for. 💛

CLB&W is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all gifts are tax-deductible.

If you’d like to give, you can find the link in our bio. 🔗

Thank you for praying, giving, sharing, and being part of our story. 🙏

Your placenta has more to say than you might think.

After birth, Kristin takes time to show families their placenta and talk through what they’re looking at.

It’s one of those little moments of care you might not expect, but it can make the experience feel even more personal.

Birth care isn’t just about getting baby here.
It’s about being known, cared for, and included in what’s happening along the way.

The way you are cared for matters. 🤍

🍂 Eating with the seasons 🍽️

This time of year, our local farmers are bringing in some of the best of the harvest. Apples, squash, sweet potatoes, greens, carrots, beets, cabbage, and much more!

Buying local and eating seasonally is a simple way to nourish your family while supporting the farmers in our community.

Prenatal care is more than checking boxes.

It’s getting to know the woman in front of you.
Listening to her questions.
Having room for conversation.
Paying attention to the little things.
Building a relationship.

This is quality midwifery care.
This is Covenant Life care.
